Bilawal questions Sharif's foreign policy, voice support for Kashmiris
Muzaffarabad (Pakistan), July 17 (ANI): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said his party is committed to support the cause of Kashmiris and thus has a clear stance against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). "However, there are people who invite Modi to their functions and consider the Taliban their brothers," he said at an election rally. He alleged that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had hardly spoken about Kashmir over the past three years. "Can't he (PM) see the worst human rights violations in held Kashmir, molestation of women, falling bodies and use of pellets (by Indian forces)?" the Dawn quoted Bilawal as saying. Bilawal claimed that it was the PPP's consistent protest against Indian despotism that had compelled Prime Minister Sharif to announce solidarity with the Kashmiris. He went on to call the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (N) a 'nakaam' league citing that they lack the ability, courage and wisdom to run foreign policy. "Now you have to decide whether you will choose and strengthen these pro-Modi forces or support PPP to see a peaceful and developed Kashmir," he asked the audience. "When I say that upcoming AJK (Azad Kashmir) polls are strategically important and linked to the future of the Kashmir issue, it is because I have my eyes on the evolving situation in the whole world and not just in Pakistan and South Asia," he added.
