New Delhi[India], Jan. 5(ANI): The Australian High Commission on Thursday clarified that the country has no plans to withdraw Australian one hundred-dollar note from circulation as it continues to remain legal tender down under.

New Delhi[India], Jan. 5(ANI): The Australian High Commission on Thursday clarified that the country has no plans to withdraw Australian one hundred-dollar note from circulation as it continues to remain legal tender down under. Meanwhile, the Australian government has set up a taskforce to crackdown on the black economy. The taskforce will look at the international experience in dealing with issues around crypto currencies, the sharing economy and cash payments in relation to the tax system. The taskforce has begun its work and will provide an interim report to the Government in March and its final report in October 2017. It will look carefully at successful measures that have been employed overseas.(ANI)
