Kabul [Afghanistan], Dec 10 (ANI): Afghanistan's Ministry of Interior (MoI) has confirmed that a top Al-Qaeda leader, who was arrested during an operation in eastern Nangarhar province was channeling funds to militants in the country.

Kabul [Afghanistan], Dec 10 (ANI): Afghanistan's Ministry of Interior (MoI) has confirmed that a top Al-Qaeda leader, who was arrested during an operation in eastern Nangarhar province was channeling funds to militants in the country. The suspect was arrested during a special military operation conducted in Khogyani district late on Thursday night, reports the Khaama Press. According to the MoI, the suspect is originally a resident of Pakistan. So far, no comments have been made by the anti-Government armed militant groups. (ANI)
