Airstrikes kills 11 ISIS loyalists in Afghanistan

Kabul [Afghanistan], Oct. 31 (ANI): At least 11 loyalists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group have been killed in a series of airstrikes carried out in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.

Kabul [Afghanistan], Oct. 31 (ANI): At least 11 loyalists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group have been killed in a series of airstrikes carried out in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. The Khamma Press quoted the provincial police commandment as saying that the foreign conducted airstrikes against the terror group late on Sunday night used gunship helicopters. The statement further said that the loyalists of the ISIS were targeted in Janjal Shaga and Shaistagar areas of Achin district. During the airstrike a Dshk heavy machine used by the loyalists of ISIS was also destroyed, the statement said adding that the local residents had not suffered any injuries. There has been no comment by the anti-government armed militant regarding the report so far. Regular raids are being conducted by Afghan and the US forces in Afghanistan against the Taliban insurgents and ISIS loyalist in the districts where they are conducting insurgency activities. (ANI)
