Kabul [Afghanistan], April 23 (ANI): At least ten militants, including five members of the Al-Qaeda terrorist network, were killed in a series of airstrikes in Afghanistan's southern Zabul province.

Kabul [Afghanistan], April 23 (ANI): At least ten militants, including five members of the Al-Qaeda terrorist network, were killed in a series of airstrikes in Afghanistan's southern Zabul province. Khaama Press quoted the Ministry of Defence (MoD) as saying in a statement that five Al-Qaeda members and five Taliban insurgents, including a local commander of the group identified as Mullah Noor Agha, were among those killed in the airstrikes carried out in the past 24 hours in Shahjoi district. A vehicle and five motorcycles belonging to the insurgents were also destroyed during the airstrikes. There has been no comment by the anti-government armed militant regarding the report so far. Regular raids are being conducted by Afghan and the US forces in Afghanistan against the Taliban insurgents and ISIS loyalist in the districts where they are conducting insurgency activities. (ANI)
