Afghan police killed 11 Taliban insurgents in Logar province

Kabul [Afghanistan], July 10 (ANI): Eleven Taliban militants were killed and five others wounded after Afghan Special Police Forces targeted insurgents hideout in eastern Logar province on Sunday.

Afghan police killed 11 Taliban insurgents in Logar province
Kabul [Afghanistan], July 10 (ANI): Eleven Taliban militants were killed and five others wounded after Afghan Special Police Forces targeted insurgents hideout in eastern Logar province on Sunday. "General Command of Police Special Units launched a security operation in Mohammad Agha district, Logar province on Sunday, killing 11 Taliban insurgents and injuring five other militants," Xinhua quoted Afghanistan's Interior Ministry statement. During the raid,the special police force also found and destroyed eight drums full of explosives, two rockets and 10 motorcycles at the Taliban hideout in Logar province, 60 km south of Kabul. "Four police officers were also wounded but no civilian was harmed during the fighting," the statement noted.(ANI)
