Afghan govt. committed to eliminating terrorists from Badakhshan: Abdullah Abdullah

Dhaka, Aug. 6 (ANI): Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah on Saturday said that terrorists will be eliminated from Badakhshan province in the near future, after he held a meeting with senior security officials.

Dhaka, Aug. 6 (ANI): Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah on Saturday said that terrorists will be eliminated from Badakhshan province in the near future, after he held a meeting with senior security officials. The Chief Executive's media office in a statement said that Abdullah Abdullah asserted that security of Badakhshan is a top priority for government and that they will leave no stone unturned to ensure the safety of its residents. He also called on insurgents to join the peace process and said that |they will be eliminated if they refused to join the peace process. The meeting was attended by the Defense and Interior ministers, the NDS chief, the deputy head of NATO's Resolute Support mission and MPs from Badakhshan. (ANI)
