Kabul, July 21 (ANI): At least 50 Daesh and Taliban insurgents were killed in air and ground force operations in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province.

Kabul, July 21 (ANI): At least 50 Daesh and Taliban insurgents were killed in air and ground force operations in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province. Locals officials on Thursday said in addition eighteen Daesh insurgents were injured last night. The operation was conducted in Achin district of the province to clear insurgents. A spokesman for the provincial governor, Attaullah Khoghyani, confirmed that thirty five Daesh members and fifteen Taliban insurgents were killed. He, however, did not provide further details about the operation nor about casualties among security forces. Achin is one of the volatile districts of Nangarhar province where Daesh insurgents are actively operating. (ANI)
