Lagos [Nigeria] May 7 (ANI): Twenty-six people were burnt to death when two buses collided head on along Nigeria's southwest Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Saturday.

Lagos [Nigeria] May 7 (ANI): Twenty-six people were burnt to death when two buses collided head on along Nigeria's southwest Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Saturday. Quoting state police spokesperson Adekunle Ajisebutu, Chinese news agency Xinhua reported that the 18-seater buses caught fire immediately after a head-on collision on the expressway and 26 passengers were burnt to death before any type of help could arrive. 11 people including children were injured in the crash and were being treated in the hospitals. Eyewitness said the passengers in the two buses were burnt beyond recognition.(ANI)
