Kabul [Afghanistan], Oct. 30 (ANI) At least 19 militants belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group have been killed in an airstrike in eastern Kunar province of Afghanistan.

Kabul [Afghanistan], Oct. 30 (ANI) At least 19 militants belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group have been killed in an airstrike in eastern Kunar province of Afghanistan. The Khaama Press quoted the Ministry of Interior (MoI) as saying that the airstrike was carried out in Dangam district and at least eight militants of the terrorist group were wounded. A statement by Ministry of Interior said BM-1 rocket launcher and a Dshk heavy machine gun belonging to the terrorist group were also destroyed in the raid. The Ministry of Interior further stated a major operation is underway in Dangam district to clear the area from the presence of terrorist groups. In an attempt to set up training camps in Kamdish district, more than 100 militants have been deployed in Nuristan province. (ANI)
