Trump promises GOP healthcare bill will improve
New York [U.S.A], July 19 (ANI) : U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday took to twitter to claim that the Republican healthcare bill would improve and blasted Democrats for their defense of the Affordable Care Act. " I will be having lunch at the White House today with Republican Senators concerning healthcare. They MUST keep their promise to America!" Trump tweeted. He also blasted ObamaCare, tweeting that the healthcare legislation is dying. "The Republicans never discuss how good their healthcare bill is, & it will get even better at lunchtime," Trump tweeted Wednesday.

The Republicans never discuss how good their healthcare bill is, & it will get even better at lunchtime. The Dems scream death as OCare dies!
— Donald J. Trump confirmed last month that he referred to the GOP healthcare bill as "mean" and suggested it lacks "heart." As Trump is hosting lunch to the Republican senators at the White House on Wednesday to discuss and cover topics including healthcare (Better Care Reconciliation Act) and other agenda items.

I will be having lunch at the White House today with Republican Senators concerning healthcare. Two other Republican senators, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Susan Collins of Maine, had already said they would not support a procedural step to begin debate. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Tuesday that Republicans would look to move forward with their plan to repeal ObamaCare, even as the repeal-only plan has already faced opposition by some GOP senators. We're not going to own it. I'm not going to own it," Trump said Tuesday at the White House in his first public appearance since the Senate bill fell apart. "I can tell you the Republicans are not going to own it. We'll let Obamacare fail and then the Democrats are going to come to us."(ANI)
