Trump calls himself victim of 'single greatest witch hunt'

New Delhi [India], May 18 (ANI): President Donald Trump has described the appointment of a former FBI director to investigate alleged ties between his campaign team and Russia during the 2016 presidential election as the single greatest witch hunt of a politician in American history. Trump claimed on Wednesday that "no politician in history" has been "treated worse" than him. "Look at the way I've been treated lately, especially by the media. No politician in history - and I say this with great surety - has been treated worse or more unfairly," CNN quoted Trump as saying to the graduates of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy during a commencement address The comments were Trump's first since reports emerged that he asked sacked FBI Director James Comey in February to drop his probe of former national security adviser Michael Flynn over his Russia links.
