Trump attacks Hillary campaign for joining recount of votes in three states
New York/Mar-a-Lago [U.S.A], Nov. 28 (ANI): United States president-elect Donald Trump has attacked the Hillary Clinton campaign for coming out in support of a recount of votes in the state of Wisconsin. Trump, according to informed sources, reminded his one-time Democratic presidential rival that she had already conceded the elections to him, and also published remarks from the presidential debates in which she had urged all Americans to accept the poll results. In a tweet, Trump said Hillary conceded the election when she called him just prior to the victory speech and after the results were in, and added that nothing will change. The recount in Wisconsin has been initiated by Green Party candidate Jill Stein. Out of the millions of votes cast, Trump won by about 27,000 votes in Wisconsin, 12,000 votes in Michigan and 68,000 votes in Pennsylvania. Stein got about one percent of the vote in each of the three states. On Sunday, according to the New York Post, Trump swapped his "Make America Great Again" hat for a sporty red pitcher cap with the number "45" stitched onto its side. It seemed to be a not so subtle swipe at the ongoing recount efforts. The billionaire was spotted leaving Mar-a-Lago with his security detail at around 4 p.m., less than an hour after he fired off a trio of tweets in which he blasted Stein's call for a recount in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. He donned a dark suit, white shirt and the red hat - which also said "USA" on the front. The number "45" on the side is likely a nod to Trump's forthcoming inauguration as America's 45th president. The president elect appeared to make a point of adjusting the hat for the news cameras. Stein has claimed to have raised USD 5.2 million to pay for re-tallies in all three states. Independent candidate Rocky Roque De La Fuente has also requested for a recount. Stein has maintained that she was simply testing the integrity of the American voting system following the widespread claims that Russia helped sway this year's presidential election. (ANI)
