Passenger wearing 'Trump hat' kicked off UA flight
New York [U.S.], May 23 (ANI): An passenger wearing a Trump campaign "Make America Great Again" red hat has been kicked off a United Airlines flight from Shanghai to Newark on Sunday, after a crowd of passengers jeered in the terminal, "Lock him up! Lock him up!" The passenger was boarding flight 87 at Shanghai Pudong International Airport when he refused to comply with the crew's instructions. When the passenger was asked to exit the Newark, he grew disruptive. Reportedly, the incident caused more than two hours of delay. The man asked to be upgraded to first class. After his request was denied, he went to the back of the plane, took another passenger's seat, and refused to let anyone else sit beside him, reports the Washington Post. "He wanted to sit in the whole row by himself," asserted one of the passengers. After local law enforcement officers were unable to persuade him to move, passengers were forced to deplane while they dealt with the situation. He was eventually escorted off. (ANI)
