Marc Jacobs to Cristina Ehrlich- all said 'NO' to dressing Melania Trump for Inauguration
Washington D.C. [USA], Jan. 20 (ANI): The fashion-world is waiting to have just a glance of what the First Lady-elect Melania Trump's inaugural outfit will be. But shockingly, some top designers and Hollywood stylists denied taking up the job to dress Melania for the Big Day, reports The Hollywood Reporters. While Tommy Hilfiger, Diane von Furstenberg and Ralph Lauren agreed to the offer, Marc Jacobs declined it with a flat "no." On the same note, Ralph Lauren is predicted to be one of the First Lady-elect's inaugural fashion designers. When the same question was posed before some top Hollywood stylists, here's what they had to say" With due respect, Cristina Ehrlich said no, "How and why she used to dress was one sort of reason and sensibility and now, it's going to be very different." "I really have watched what she's done and the choices she's made, and they have great respect to them and a sophistication. I'm interested to see where she's going to go with [her style], but it's not something I would be interested in," Ehrlich added. On the same note, Cristina Ehrlich is the one behind Priyanka Chopra's amazing appearances in the West. Power pair Kate Lee and Mark Townsend responded to the question with a quick "no comment." Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston's longtime hairstylist teased a more thoughtful answer, "I definitely have my ideas of what I would do with both Melania and the president-elect. It's in my head." (ANI)
