Democrats parody Trump for his 'all praise' Cabinet meeting
Washington D.C. [U.S.A.], June 13 (ANI): Minutes after United States President Donald Trump received a 'tribute paying session' at his Cabinet meeting in full public view on Monday, senior Democrat and New York Sen. Chuck Schumer released a short video parodying the roundtable. The 25-second video features the minority leader surrounded by his flattering staff, who are all praise for him just like Vice-President Mike Pence, U.S. ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and others were towards Trump. "I want to thank everyone for coming. I just thought we'd go 'round the room," Schumer says. His staff then proceeds to speak in turn, each flattering the Senator. "Your tone was perfect. You were right on message," the first staffer, Lucy, says about his Sunday show appearance. "Michelle, how'd my hair look coming out of the gym this morning?" Schumer asks, turning to the next staffer. "You have great hair. Nobody has better hair than you," Michelle says. Schumer's third staffer jumps into the conversation directly quoting part of White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus's earlier statement: "Before we go any further, I just want to say thank you for the opportunity and blessing to serve your agenda." The group then bursts into laughter.

GREAT meeting today with the best staff in the history of the world!!! pic.twitter.com/ocE1xhEAac
— Chuck Schumer (@SenSchumer) June 12, 2017
Earlier, at the Cabinet meeting, heads of his executive branch agencies showered praises on the first five months of Trump's administration, while the President basks in the pouring admiration. Usually, a Cabinet meeting begins with short remarks from the President before detailed talks behind closed doors, but Trump opened with a lengthy statement about his own work before having each of his Cabinet secretary provide their own assessment of the administration's progress so far. Vice-President Mike Pence was the first to speak: "This is the greatest privilege of my life is to serve as Vice-President to a President who's keeping his word to the American people." (ANI)
