London [U.K.], Apr. 2 (ANI): A landslide which hit the south-western border province of Putumayo, Colombia claimed 150 people lives and left several inured.

Colombia landslide: Death toll mounts to over 150 dead in Putumayo province
London [U.K.], Apr. 2 (ANI): A landslide which hit the south-western border province of Putumayo, Colombia claimed 150 people lives and left several inured. The landslide has sent mud, debris into the house of the people, whereas heavy rainfall caused several rivers to overflow, reported the Guardian. Colombia's President Juan Manuel Santos said, "It has just been reported to me that we have 112 people dead. We will keep looking." As per the photo posted on Twitter by the air force, the streets are filled with mud and damaged houses. Earlier, Santos declared a state of emergency in the city, to allow rescue operations to be mobilised in the region. More than 1,100 soldiers and police officers have been called to carry out the rescue work. (ANI)
