'Embarrassed' Trump dismisses his comments about groping women as 'locker room talk'
Washington D.C. [US], Oct. 10 (ANI): US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Monday said he was "embarrassed" by a video in which he made obscene comments about groping women without consent and dismissed it as "locker room talk." A shocking previously unaired footage from 2005 had surfaced in which Trump can be seen unabashedly bragging about trying to sleep with a married woman and being able to grope women as well. "I am very embarrassed by it, hate it, it is locker room talk," Trump replied during the second presidential debate at Washington University on Sunday. Trump, who is facing a party rebellion over the video, alleged that former president Bill Clinton had done worse to women. "Mine were words, His (Bill Clinton) were action," he said. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, however, said Trump's comments showed he was unfit for the White House. "He has said the video doesn't represent who he is but I think it is clear to anyone who heard it that it represents exactly who he is," Clinton said. According to CNN, in the 2005 video, Trump is heard talking about women in vulgar terms during an off-camera banter during the taping of a segment for "Access Hollywood," footage which was obtained by The Washington Post. During the vulgar conversation captured by a microphone which Trump was wearing on his lapel, Trump can be heard talking about how he tried to "f***" an unidentified married woman before bragging that he is "automatically attracted to beautiful (women)" and just starts "kissing them." The conversation came just months after Trump married his third and current wife, Melania. He also said: "When you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything ... Grab them by the p****. You can do anything." It is reported that on Sunday, the Republican presidential candidate met just hours before the debate with three women, who had accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct and a fourth woman who was a victim in a rape case that Hillary Clinton participated in as a defense attorney.
