Abu Dhabi [UAE], Sept 25 (ANI): The world's former heaviest woman Eman Abdul Atti passed away on Monday due to complications the underlying comorbid conditions, including heart disease and kidney dysfunction.

World's former heaviest woman passes away in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi [UAE], Sept 25 (ANI): The world's former heaviest woman Eman Abdul Atti passed away on Monday due to complications the underlying comorbid conditions, including heart disease and kidney dysfunction.

Eman was transferred to Burjeel Hospital from India in May to continue rehabilitation from bariatric surgery that saw her lose more than 300kg, the national reported.

She weighed 504kg when she arrived in Mumbai on February 11.

She had been under the supervision of over 20 doctors from different specialities in the hospital who were managing her medical condition from the time she arrived in the UAE.

Eman's family expressed their appreciation and care and treatment provided to her by Burjeel Hospital.

They were also grateful to the rulers and residents of the UAE for their support to Eman during the treatment.

"Our prayers and heartfealt condolences go out to her family," said the hospital. (ANI)
