South Korea

Seoul [South Korea], May 1 8 (ANI): The South Korea on Thursday said that there is a gap between the United States and North Korea in the understanding to achieve denuclearisation.
As reported by the Yonhap news agency, South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha said Pyongyang and Washington are "directly communicating" with each other to prepare for their much-anticipated summit talks scheduled to be held in Singapore on June 12.
She further noted that North Korea has committed itself to complete denucleaisation but "it's true that there's a difference in opinions between the North and the U.S on how to pull off denuclearization."
She then talked of upcoming US-North Korea summit as she said Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump will try to reach a deal on concrete methods when they hold the summit.
Recently, United States Secretary Mike Pompeo used the term PVID which stands for "permanent" denuclearization, as he raised a bar for North Korea to ensure it does not revert back on its nuclear status.
The United States have called for denuclearisation of North Korea and the same is expected to be discussed at the upcoming summit. (ANI)
