Twin bomb blasts kill 13 in Nigeria

India on Thursday highlighted a high-level diplomatic push to protect Indian interests, emphasising the twin priorities of citizen safety and the stability of energy supply chains.

The preliminary analysis of the device which was ignited and thrown at a protest outside the residence of New York City's Mayor Zohran Mamdani's was revealed to be an improvised explosive device, according to the analysis by the NYPD Bomb Squad. The NYPD has identified the two men arrested in this regard and mentioned that it is working along with partners at the FBI through its Joint Terrorism Task Force.

Two suspects were identified after an attempted bomb attack outside Gracie Mansion in New York during clashes between an anti-Islam protest and counter-protesters. Police recovered jar-based devices filled with bolts and screws. Six people were detained, and authorities are analysing whether the devices were functional explosives.
