Baghdad [Iraq], May 25 (ANI): The Turkish military neutralised six terrorists in northern Iraq on Friday.
As reported by the Anadolu Agency, the Turkish General took to his official Twitter account to inform that a military operation was carried out in Hakurk region which has been identified as a stronghold of militant group Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
Turkish authorities often use the word "neutralized" in their statements to imply that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were killed or captured.
The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States, and the European Union.
In PKK's terror campaign against Turkey, which has lasted for more than three decades, over 40,000 people have been killed, including women and children. (ANI)
