Taking to Twitter, Trump also thanked Patriots owner Robert Kraft for his "excellent advice" on the bid that will bring 2026's World Cup to North America.
"Thank you for all of the compliments on getting the World Cup to come to the U.S.A., Mexico and Canada. I worked hard on this, along with a Great Team of talented people. We never fail, and it will be a great World Cup! A special thanks to Bob Kraft for excellent advice," Trump tweeted.
On Wednesday, FIFA had announced that its voters chose the United States, Canada, and Mexico for its first 48-team World Cup tournament in 2026.
