Trump takes swipe at Oprah Winfrey

Washington D.C. [USA], Feb 19 (ANI): United States President Donald Trump took a swipe at media mega-celebrity Oprah Winfrey following her appearance in CBS' show, '60 Minutes', where she led a panel discussion with voters from Michigan state.

Taking to Twitter, the US President said the questions posed by the "very insecure Oprah Winfrey" were biased and slanted.

"Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!" Trump tweeted.

Winfrey questioned seven Michigan voters who voted for Trump and seven who voted against him.

Trump's mocking remark about hoping for Winfrey to run for President comes in light of the fact that anti-Trump voices have continually called for her to run for President in 2022.

Admiration and praises poured in for her especially after her powerful speech at the recent Golden Globes Awards. (ANI)
