Trump refutes report claiming he calls Rod Rosenstein 'Mr. Peepers'

Washington D.C. [U.S.A.], Apr. 22 (ANI): United States President Donald Trump on Sunday refused a report which stated that he calls Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein as "Mr. Peepers," and Attorney General Jeff Sessions as "Mr. Magoo,".

Mr. Peepers and Mr. Magoo are the decades-old cartoon characters, who appeared on television in the 1950s.

Taking to his Twitter handle the US President termed the report published on the same as "fake and disgusting.'

"The Washington Post said I refer to Jeff Sessions as "Mr. Magoo" and Rod Rosenstein as "Mr. Peepers." This is "according to people with whom the president has spoken." There are no such people and don't know these characters...just more Fake & Disgusting News to create ill will!," he tweeted.

This was Trump's second attack on the media in a day; earlier through his social media the President attacked the press and called a reporter of a U.S. leading daily as a 'third-rate reporter'. (ANI)
