US Department of State Spokesperson Heather Nauert

Washington D.C. [U.S.A.], August 24 (ANI): The US Department of State said no arrangement for trip to India for the 2+2 dialogue has yet been made. The 2+2 dialogue is set to be held in New Delhi next month.
In a press briefing here on Thursday, spokesperson Heather Nauert said, "Well, we haven't announced any trips yet, but when we do I'll be sure to let you know."
"But as you well know, we have a good working relationship with the Government of India, and if and when we travel there, we look forward to having those meetings," she added.
Earlier this week, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Alice Wells said that the upcoming India-US 2+2 dialogue would serve as an important opportunity to enhance the relations between the two countries.
Wells further said that deliberations on operationalising India as a major defense partner would be held in the meeting. (ANI)
