Tanker explosion in Afghanistan kills 8, injures 25

Kabul [Afghanistan], Nov. 2 (ANI): At least eight people were killed and 25 others got injured in an explosion in Afghanistan's Parwan province on late Wednesday.

According to the Tolo News, the incident occurred after a magnetic improvised explosive device (IED) was detonated when a passenger bus was alongside a fuel tanker.

The provincial health chief confirmed the death toll.

The police officials said that at least 12 injured were taken to the Hospital in Kabul, where condition of six remains critical.

No group has claimed the responsibility for the incident so far. (ANI)
