Taliban militants killed by own explosives

Kabul [Afghanistan], Dec 10 (ANI): At least two Taliban insurgents were killed while planting Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in Afghanistan's Laghman province.

The incident took place in the vicinity of the Alingar district. No one else was killed or wounded in the incident apart from the two insurgents, Khaama Press reported, citing, 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Army, as saying.

The anti-government armed militant groups frequently use explosives materials for the roadside bombings and car bombings to target the government staff and security personnel, the report said.

This comes after the death of two militants reportedly three months ago while planting an IED on a roadside in the Kapisa province. (ANI)
