Taliban critic released after being detained for two days

India on Thursday rejected Pakistan's allegations of aggravating skirmishes with Afghanistan, calling them "baseless" and accusing Pakistan of blaming others for its own misdeeds.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio designated Afghanistan as a "state sponsor of wrongful detention" in a release on Monday. He urged the Taliban to release Americans "unjustly detained," accusing the group of using "terrorist tactics" and "hostage diplomacy" to seek policy concessions from the US.

In an official statement released on its Telegram channel, the IDF said the latest wave of operations included the targeted destruction of the IRGC's Space Force headquarters as well as approximately 50 ammunition bunkers, a Basij base, an internal security command centre, and a compound linked to the IRGC Ground Forces.

Earlier on Monday, the Provisional Leadership Council of Iran held its second meeting in the presence of Iranian President Masoud Pezekshian, Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei and Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, as per the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
