Upon her arrival, she was greeted by Indian and Azerbaijani officials respectively.

Swaraj is on a three-day visit to the Central Asian country to attend the NAM conference.

The NAM mid-term ministerial conference will be held in Baku on April 5-6 under the theme of "Promoting international peace and security for sustainable development".

"As a founding member of NAM, India remains committed to the purposes and principles of the Movement. The MEA further said that India and Azerbaijan enjoy warm and friendly relations based on historical and cultural ties.
