Suited-up Canadian groom saves drowning child

Kitchener (Ontario) [Canada], September 27 (ANI): The suited-up groom, who had just gotten married, rescued a drowning child here.

Clayton Cook and his wife Brittany were getting some wedding photos clicked on a bridge over a lake in the Victoria Park in Kitchener, Canada when Cook noticed something alarming, reported the CNN.

A child had fallen into the water and seemed to be drowning.

Cook noticed it, ran off the bridge and without giving a thought to his suit jumped in, grabbed the boy by the forearm and pulled him to safety.

"I just kind of plucked him out and he was okay," Cook said.

Cook's wife, Brittany who initially considered his jump in the waters as a joke, later said, "How different would everyone's day been if we weren't in the right place at the right time?"

The couple's wedding photographer, Darren Hatt, captured the rescue and the photos since then have gone viral. (ANI)

A country with a well-documented history of clandestine nuclear proliferation can hardly preach the virtues of export controls and proliferation risks. Such ludicrous statements are nothing more than an attempt by Pakistan to distract from its own abysmal record," he said.
