Six Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan terrorists killed during operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Six terrorists of the proscribed outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were shot dead in two separate Intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Lakki Marwat and Balochistan's Pishin districts on Wednesday, reported The Express Tribune.

Islamabad [Pakistan], August 31 (ANI): Six terrorists of the proscribed outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were shot dead in two separate Intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Lakki Marwat and Balochistan's Pishin districts on Wednesday, reported The Express Tribune.
According to the spokesperson of the Counter Terrorism Department, four terrorists belonging to the banned outfit TTP were killed during an operation in the Pishin district of Balochistan.
However, the most wanted sharpshooter of the TTP, Shakar Din alias Umar Khalid was among four terrorists who were killed in the operation, reported The Express Tribune.
Moreover, the Balochistan CRD carried out the search operation in a refugee camp in the Surkhab area of Pishin district. There, during a fire exchange, four TTP terrorists were killed.
A huge collection of arms and ammunition was also found from the hideouts of the banned outfit terrorists, according to The Express Tribune.
The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab arrested 21 suspects allegedly belonging to banned outfits on terror charges, reported ARY News on Saturday.
As per the ARY News, the CTD Spokesperson has said that the arrested persons include 9 commanders of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The officials claimed that the arrested men were preparing a dangerous plan.The CTD officials said that during this week, 700 combing operations were conducted during which 49 suspects were taken into custody.
During the combing operations, more than 29,000 people were questioned, the officials added. (ANI)
