Governor Mandokhail, while commenting on the fencing of Gwadar, said he was unaware of any such development.
"No knowledge about fencing in Gwadar. If it is being installed for security purposes, then it is a good thing," he said.
Speaking to Geo News last week, Mandokhail, who is the president of the PML-N's provincial chapter, had said he will serve the country and the nation as a governor, Geo News reported.
"I will play the role of a bridge between the province and the Centre," he had said.

MEA rejects Pakistan’s statement on India-Canada deal

"We reject this statement made by Pakistan on the matter. India's credentials regarding non-proliferation are impeccable and well recognised by the global community. A country with a well-documented history of clandestine nuclear proliferation can hardly preach the virtues of export controls and proliferation risks. Such ludicrous statements are nothing more than an attempt by Pakistan to distract from its own abysmal record," he said.
