PM Modi visits Innovation exhibition in Singapore

Singapore, [Singapore] May 31 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday started his tour in Singapore, by visiting an exhibitions centre.
The India-Singapore Enterprise and Innovation Exhibitions at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre showcase innovation in frontier technologies, including artificial intelligence, fin-tech and innovation for social impact.
The exhibition is put up jointly by Indian and Singaporean companies.
Prime Minister Modi was being led on to a museum tour where he was guided about new innovative types of equipment and techniques displayed across.
New models of mobile phones and other electronic gadgets were introduced at the place as Prime Minister Modi went to discuss each of their features.
Further, the Indonesian professionals demonstrated new techniques revolving around the use of electricity.
The innovators also explained the construction of some of their ambitious projects through graphical representations, as Prime Minister Modi held further talks with them to understand their functions.
Following this, Prime Minister Modi will be participating in a business-cum-community event here where he is expected to address issues including India's economic engagement with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
While addressing an expected audience of about 5,000 people he shall highlight the current investment climate in India while informing them about the various reforms introduced within the country.
Later, Prime Minister Modi will have a round-table conference with CEOs over dinner. Thirty top business leaders of Singapore will participate in the conference.
On Friday, he is scheduled to visit the Arjuna's Chariot and the Istiqal Mosque. He will then go to the Indian Heritage Centre, where he is expected to launch a platform to bring Indian artisans and craftsmen to showcase their work to support rural livelihood.
At the end of his stay in Singapore, he will visit Changi Naval Base, where he will interact with naval officials and sailors.
Prime Minister Modi is a four-day visit to three-nation tour.
He earlier visited Indonesia following a brief stop-over at Malaysia. The agenda of the visit was to expand and strengthen Indian relations with the three South- Asian countries. (ANI)
