Palestine plans to fight US' measures

Ramallah [Palestine], Sep 13 (ANI): Days after the Trump administration decided to shut the Palestine Liberation Organization's (PLO) diplomatic office in Washington DC, Palestine leaders have said that they are weighing retaliatory measures against the decision, AL Jazeera reported.
"It's among possible steps we are thinking about," Al Jazeera quoted Hanan Ashrawi, a member of the PLO's executive committee as she told reporters in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
"We are thinking of many things that can be done," she added.
It was on Monday, the White House announced that it will close the PLO office as Palestine refused to enter into a negotiation with Israel.
The move also came at a time when ties between both the nations have seen a sharp decline following US President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
Apart from the decision to shut down the PLO mission, the Trump administration also decided that a USD 25 million financial aid allocated for the care of Palestinians in hospitals in East Jerusalem will go somewhere else. (ANI)
