Philippines imposes lockdown over Easter due to surge in COVID-19 cases

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney expressed deep sorrow after a mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, left 10 people dead, including the suspect, and injured at least 25. Police said there is no ongoing threat, and authorities continue investigating the incident.

A shooting at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia killed 10 people, including the shooter who died from a self-inflicted injury. Six died inside the school. Two were seriously injured. Police say no ongoing threat exists.

An active incident at Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville led to a shooting on Tuesday afternoon. One student was injured and is stable. A 16-year-old suspect was taken into custody, with authorities confirming there is no further threat.
