New Delhi [India], June 5 (ANI): Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has drawn flak for kissing an overseas Filipina worker on the lips during a live event in South Korea.
According to media reports, Duterte called the Korean woman, named Bea Kim on stage and convinced her to kiss him.
While the scene drew cheers from the crowd, the Opposition Senator Risa Hontiveros called the act a despicable display of sexism and grave abuse of authority and the Philippines rights group, Gabriela described it as "disgusting theatrics of a misogynist president".
The incident happened on Sunday during the first day of his three-day official visit to South Korea. (ANI)
