Islamabad [Pakistan], Sept 22 (ANI): Pakistan on Friday summoned Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale to protest and condemn the alleged firing by the Indian troops along the LoC, in which six civilians were killed and 26 others injured.

Pak summons Indian envoy over alleged firing along LoC

Islamabad [Pakistan], Sept 22 (ANI): Pakistan on Friday summoned Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale to protest and condemn the alleged firing by the Indian troops along the LoC, in which six civilians were killed and 26 others injured.

The Pakistan Foreign Office handed over a demarche, protesting the alleged deaths of six civilians and called for an immediate halt in cross-border firing, the Express Tribune reported.

Pakistan termed the alleged firing on civilians a violation of the international laws and asked India to direct abide by the ceasefire agreement.

According to local media reports, six Pakistani civilians were allegedly killed and 26 others were injured along the Working Boundary in Charwah and Harpal sectors. (ANI)
