Oli sworn in as Nepali PM

Kathmandu [Nepal], Feb 15 (ANI): KP Sharma Oli on Thursday was sworn in as the 41st Prime Minister of Nepal. This will be his second stint as the Prime Minister.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to the 65-year-old Prime Minister at a function held at President's Office, Shital Niwas, in Maharajgunj.
Oli had previously served as the country's prime minister from October 11, 2015 to August 3, 2016, is the first premier of Nepal after the promulgation of the new constitution in 2015.
Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) UML's Oli is well-known for his pro-China stance.
Earlier in the day, Sher Bahadur Deuba, while addressing the nation from Prime Minister's Official residence, announced his resignation from the post deeming his tenure to be successful.
"For the implementation of the constitution, the conduction of all three-tier elections has been completed successfully which was my responsibility to be completed. We now have arrived at the stage of formation of the new federal government. To facilitate the government formation I hereby announce my resignation from the post," Deuba said. (ANI)
