Washington D.C. [USA], Oct 09 (ANI): United States (US) President Donald Trump on Tuesday accepted the resignation of Nikki Haley as United Nations (UN) ambassador.
The reason behind Haley's resignation is still unclear, reported Fox News.
Trump is also expected to speak and clear the air about this decision at the Oval office on early Tuesday morning. "Big announcement with my friend Ambassador Nikki Haley in the Oval Office at 10:30 am," he tweeted.
Former South Carolina governor Haley was confirmed as UN Ambassador four days after the US President was inaugurated in January 2017. (ANI)
