Military helicopter with 20 on board crashes in Afghanistan

Farah [Afghanistan], Oct 31 (ANI): A military helicopter carrying 20 passengers, including officials, crashed in the Anar Dana district here on Wednesday.

Farah [Afghanistan], Oct 31 (ANI): A military helicopter carrying 20 passengers, including officials, crashed in the Anar Dana district here on Wednesday.
Stating that there are no survivors, 207 Zafar Military Corps spokesperson Najibullah Najibi said that two choppers were flying together when one of them crashed, according to TOLOnews.
Spokesman for the ground forces unit of the corps Noorulhaq Khaliqi mentioned that head of Farah Provincial Council Farid Bakhtawar was on board during the time of the crash along with Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the 207 Zafar Military Corps Nematullah Khalil and a member of the provincial council, Jamila Amini.
The cause of the crash is yet to be ascertained. (ANI)
