Magnitude 6.5 quake jolts Costa Rica

San Jose [Costa Rica], November 13 (ANI): An earthquake of 6.5 magnitude on the Richter scale has hit the Pacific coast of Costa Rica near its capital, San Jose.

The quake was measured at a depth of 12.3 miles (20 km), centered around the southwest of San Jose, but there is no threat of Pacific-wide tsunami, as of now.

No loss of life and property has been reported yet.
