Ling Rinpoche, reincarnation of the teacher of Dalai Lama reaches Sri Lanka

The event titled "Understanding China's System of Political Repression: Voices of Resistance through Art and Journalism" brought together prominent voices critical of China's information control, as reported by Phayul.

Supporters of the Tibetan movement from across India gathered in McLeodganj on Wednesday to offer long life prayers for Tibetan spiritual leader Tenzin Gyatso. The Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) on Tuesday commemorated the 67th anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising Day at the Tsuglagkhang courtyard in Dharamshala, paying tribute to Tibetan martyrs of the 1959 uprising and reiterating calls for the protection of Tibetan identity, culture, and human rights.
