Kyocera contributes to clean environment

Bangkok [Thailand], Dec 27 (ANI): Solar farms installed by Japanese Company 'Kyocera' and Thai Company 'SPCG Public Company' are attracting attention nowadays as a source of renewable energy.
Solar panels lined up on the roof of factories are called 'solar farms'. At the 'Aman Nakkorn Industrial Estate' in Thailand, many factories belonging to Japanese companies are using 'solar farm'.
SPCG is equipped with solar panels manufactured by Kyocera and manages the power supply by solar farms.
Wandee Khunchornyakong Juljarern, the CEO of SPCG Public Company says, "SPCG is the first company that started solar energy business in Thailand back in 2010 with great support from Kyocera Corporation. We have also improved solar roof business for Japanese industry in Thailand with great support from the Thai government's Board of Investment (BOI)."
She further mentioned, "That helped reduce 50% of investment from corporate tax, so right now we are heading for solar roof business for Japanese industry in Thailand with 7,000 companies and BOI privilege is up to 2018, so we would like to expand as much as possible for the benefit of the companies by using clean energy and helping in fighting climate change."
The SPCG CEO is a well-known expert in renewable energy in Thailand.
Meanwhile, Kazunori Minamikawa from Kyocera Asia Pacific highlights, "A very important point is a high-quality solar panel, long-term reliability and after-sales service. We can provide one-stop service with our strong local partner, SPCG."
Kazunori goes on to give the example of Honda Lock Thai, a company that manufactures automotive parts, which has a solar farm installed on the roof of its factory.
Sanya Pha-ngern from Honda Lock Thai outlines, "Our company aims to help the environment by energy saving. At the request of our customers, we set a goal to reduce CO2 emissions to 1% or less. Hence, by introducing the solar cell project, our electricity usage has decreased, and this has also helped us in reducing cost."
Climate change is an important global issue and Kyocera's effort to spread renewable energy in Southeast Asia is achieving success through deep partnerships with local companies like SPCG. (ANI)
