Japan, Palau strengthen business ties

Tokyo [Japan], Apr 15 (ANI): Marking 25 years of diplomatic relationship between Japan and Palau, the Palau Business Seminar was held jointly by the Embassy of the Republic of Palau on April 4.

Japan and Palau mark 25 years of diplomatic relations

Tokyo [Japan], Apr 15 (ANI): Marking 25 years of diplomatic relationship between Japan and Palau, the Palau Business Seminar was held jointly by the Embassy of the Republic of Palau on April 4.
President of the Republic of Palau, Thomas Remengesau Jr. said, “Japan and Palau have had a deep relationship.”
“As we enter the second quarter century of our diplomatic relationship, I am more than ever confident that this tie will grow even stronger” Remengesau added.
More than 130 participants attended the seminar, highlighting the high-level interest of Palau in doing business with Japan.
Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan said, “We look forward to more development of Palau through business exchange and growing development of Japan-Palau relationship for the future.”
Japan is strengthening its relationship with countries around the Pacific, including Asia and India.
 The island nation is also an important partner and promotes the economic development of the country while protecting the interest of the people.
The strong relationship between Japan and Palau will lead to future development and economic cooperation, the leaders said. (ANI)
