India, China to hold media forum on Friday

New Delhi [India], Dec 18 (ANI): In an aim to strengthen media relations between the two countries, India and China will hold a high-level media forum on Friday during Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi's visit to India.

New Delhi [India], Dec 18 (ANI): In an aim to strengthen media relations between the two countries, India and China will hold a high-level media forum on Friday during Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi's visit to India.
The inaugural session of the event would be addressed by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and her Chinese counterpart.
There will be three sessions in the forum -- Towards Enhanced Understanding: Challenges and Opportunities in India China Media Cooperation, Role of Indian and Chinese Media in Promoting Closer Developmental Partnership and India China - A Roadmap for Media Cooperation. Noted journalists from the two countries would participate in the sessions.
Wang will pay a visit to India from December 21 to 24 to co-chair the first-ever meeting of India-China High-Level Mechanism on Cultural and People-to-People Exchanges with Swaraj. The meeting will focus on strengthening bilateral relations between the two Asian nations. (ANI)
