Hong Kong reports 1,161 new COVID-19 cases

Canadian Minister of International Trade Maninder Sidhu will be embarking on a visit to Mumbai from September 18-19 to strengthen Canada’s trade and investment relationship with India by advancing the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

An Indian Parliamentary Delegation led by Harivansh,  Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha, is participating in the 69th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) being held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 12 to 19 September.

A 38-year-old Indian-origin woman, Shalini Thakur, was shot dead in Sacramento, California, by 22-year-old Rohit, who had stalked her for months. The gunman, an undocumented immigrant released after a 2023 border crossing, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound following the attack.
