The event titled "Understanding China's System of Political Repression: Voices of Resistance through Art and Journalism" brought together prominent voices critical of China's information control, as reported by Phayul.

"We reject this statement made by Pakistan on the matter. India's credentials regarding non-proliferation are impeccable and well recognised by the global community. Hundreds of Tibetans-in-exile gathered in Himachal Pradesh's Shimla on Tuesday to mark the 67th anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising Day, holding a protest march and urging the international community to support Tibet's freedom and the rights of Tibetans living under Chinese rule.
