Nawabshah [Pakistan], Jul 25 (ANI): Former Pakistan Prime President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday exercised his franchise at the Government Boys School in LBOD colony in Sindh's Nawabshah.

Nawabshah [Pakistan], Jul 25 (ANI): Former Pakistan Prime President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday exercised his franchise at the Government Boys School in LBOD colony in Sindh's Nawabshah.
Zardari, who is contesting from the NA-213 seat is aiming to become a member of the National Assembly (MNA) for the first time since 1993.
The Pakistan's People Party (PPP) posted a video on their Twitter handle on the same.



Zardari served as 11th Pakistan's President from 2008 to 2013.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) received a complaint against Zardari for allegedly preventing people to cast their vote in Badin. Furthermore, it asked the concerned returning officer (RO) to submit a report of the complaint, Pakistan Today reported.
Earlier, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto cast his vote in Larkana city from the NA-200 constituency.
Taking to Twitter, Bilawal posted a picture of himself after casting his vote on his Twitter account, saying, "Voted! Every vote counts. #DemocracyistheBestRevenge."
Also, the PPP uploaded a picture of Bilawal's aunt, Sanam Bhutto after she cast her vote from the NA-200 constituency.
Earlier in the day, Zardari's daughters Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari cast their votes in Sindh's Nawabshah.
Bakhtawar took to her Twitter handle to share a picture with her younger sister, where the two showed their inked thumbs.
"Voted with @AseefaBZ this morning in #Nawabshah & inshAllah in Shaheed Benazirabad #TeerChalega #Pakistan #Elections2018 #AgliBariPirZardari @AAliZardari," she tweeted.
Polling which started at 8 am, ended at 6 pm today.
As many as 12,570 candidates are contesting for 272 national and 577 provincial assembly seats. (ANI)
