EAM Swaraj meets foreign ministers of Iran, Mongolia

New Delhi [India], Jan 9 (ANI): India held bilateral meetings with Iran and Mongolia respectively, on the sidelines of the Raisina Dialogue, which was inaugurated on January 8 by Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several other high-level dignitaries.

New Delhi [India], Jan 9 (ANI): India held bilateral meetings with Iran and Mongolia respectively, on the sidelines of the Raisina Dialogue, which was inaugurated on January 8 by Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several other high-level dignitaries.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj held a meeting with her Iranian counterpart, Javad Zarif here on Wednesday where the two sides discussed important bilateral issues, including the situation in Afghanistan.
"EAM @SushmaSwaraj met Iranian Foreign Minister @JZarif who is in Delhi for the @raisinadialogue. Held wide ranging discussion on important bilateral issues and shared perspectives on the regional situation," Raveesh Kumar, the Spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) tweeted.
Swaraj also met with Mongolian Foreign Minister Damdin Tsogtbaatar, where both the sides took stock of the "positive developments" in relationship in areas of energy, renewable energy, development partnership, capacity building & culture, according to the MEA.
Both Zarif and Tsogtbaatar are slated to deliver ministerial addresses at the ongoing Raisina Dialogue- "a multilateral conference committed to addressing the most challenging issues facing the global community." (ANI)
